March 12 – Saturday: Departure from Amsterdam (sleep in Hotel Vincci Tenerife Golf)
March 13 – Sunday: Walk to beaches of Los Abrigos, Los Cristianos and Alcala (check-in Finca Vinco)
March 14 – Monday: Rainy and lots of wind in Alcala, so visit to Teide Volcano where we were above the clouds. Hiked Sendero 3 Roques de Garcia (sleep in Finca Vinco)
March 15 – Tuesday: Rain in Alcala, so we moved to the South-East corner of Tenerife. Climbed Montana Roja. Afterwards visit to Tajao Arch and rocky area (sleep in Finca Vinco)
March 16 – Wednesday: Visit to old town of Garachico, Amazed by crashing waves in Playa el Socorro, Bajamar and Punta de Hidalgo (sleep in Finca Vinco)
March 17 – Thursday: Very pleasant circular hike to Chinyero volcano  in Teide National Park; climb to the top of Montana Samara for an exceptional view of the area; visit to several miradors or viewpoints to admire the snow cap of Teide volcano (sleep in Finca Vinco)
March 18 – Friday: Amazing circular hike to Montana Botija and Pico Viejo. Afterwards visit to Los Gigantes, which disappointed due to mist (sleep in Finca Vinco)
March 19 – Saturday: Visit to the old town of Candelaria on the East coast. Afterwards an unexpected early check-in in Nivaria Beach Resort and Villas (sleep in Nivaria apt G6)
March 20 – Sunday: Easy day. Walk to Abades lighthouse and the abandoned ruins of the Pueblo de los leprosos (sleep in Nivaria apt G6)
March 21 – Monday: Check-in Parador, stargazing at night (sleep in Parador de Cañadas del Teide)
March 22 – Tuesday: With the cable car to the summit of Teide volcano. Unfortunately the hiking trails were closed due to snow, so the visit was limited to the viewing platform. Afterwards walks to Minas de San Jose, and the Observatorio Astronomico del Teide, visits to some viewpoints, and stargazing at night (sleep in Parador de Cañadas del Teide)
March 23 – Wednesday: Amazing circular hike on Montana Blanca, additional short hike at one of the miradors close to the Cable car station. At night: stargazing (sleep in Parador de Cañadas del Teide)
March 24 – Thursday: Sunrise at Roques de Garcia, check-out of the Parador, and exit Teide National Park via the North route. At Izana, close to the observatory, we found some amazing ice-structures in the foliage next to the road. After a lot of switch-backs we reached the East-coast again to start the somewhat long wait for the appropriate check-in time in Nivaria. Re-visit of Tajao arch and hoodoo to kill the time (sleep in Nivaria apt J5)
March 25 – Friday: Hike to Malpaís de Güímar. In the afternoon some relax-time on our balcony (sleep in Nivaria apt J5)
March 26 – Saturday: Relaxing during the day. Return home in the evening
