Cathedral Grove - MacMillan Provincial Park (2017)
MacMillan is famous for it’s old trees. In Cathedral Grove two trails are available, one on each side of the very busy highway from Nanaimo. A boardwalk leads alongside the oldest and most interesting tree formations

Juan de Fuca - Port Renfrew (2017)
The surrounding area of Port Renfrew has a lot of beaches that are very worth visiting: Botanical Beach, China Beach and French Beach. On Sombrio Beach a hidden waterfall can be found, impossible to photograph, but nice to visit. Avatar Grove is an interesting rain forest area, a board walk leads towards gnarly trees.

Yoho National Park (2016)
Yoho is in British Columbia, it connects with Banff- and Kootenay National Parks. During the day trip to Yoho we only saw the spiral tunnels, where trains make a comlete 360 degrees turn and as such drive “above” themselves. Field is a small village in the area.
