Glacier National Park (Montana) (2016)

One of the bucket list trails is the HIghline Loop trail in Glacier (an 18 km, one way hike, return by shuttle bus). The trail is famous for it’s views. Not when we were there however. It was raining and cloudy.

Grand Teton National Park (2016)

Grand Teton is directly south of Yellowstone. The 2 parks are connected. Grand Teton is very beautifull with mountains, plains and a lot of wild life. In 2016 there were many wild fires, at some places there was some smoke.

Yellowstone National Park (2016)

The park is almost completely in Wyoming, but also partly in Montana. Old Faithful and the other geysers are the main attraction in the park. Apart from the geysers a lot of wildlife is present: bison, elk, and with a little luck bears and wolves.
